Yes, this book for young teens was the first book I finished for the year. Hurray. I finished it in one sitting. That's how easy it was to read. The Son of Neptune is the second installment in the Heroes of Olympus series, which is a follow up to the Percy Jackson series. I loved Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series, so even before I started this book I already knew I was going to enjoy it. I read The Lost Heroes last year. It had the same fun and excitement as the Percy Jackson series. The Son of Neptune is no exception. Although there seem to be more and more little stories cropping up probably because there are a lot of characters involved and they have their own stories to tell. Anyway, anything based on Roman and Greek mythology is always interesting.
